DESCRIPTION
A kerf (groove) applied, smoke, acoustic and privacy seal.
APPLICATION
Incorporated into door assemblies for its smoke and acoustic properties. Also used as a privacy seal on toilet cubicle doors.
KEY FEATURES
- Fits quickly and easily into a 3mm wide by 4mm deep interference fit groove.
- Twin seal provides effective smoke containment and excellent acoustic performance.
USE WITH
Used in conjunction with a Lorient door bottom solution such as the IS8010si automatic door bottom seal and IS4130 threshold plate to provide a total door sealing system.
MATERIALS
A rigid PVC base with co-extruded flame retardant twin flexible smoke and acoustic fins.

FIXING
The product is fitted into a 3mm wide by 4mm deep groove and is pushed in for a simple interference fit.
APPROVAL/S
- AS1530/4 fire tests with proprietary fire doors.
- AS1530/7 air (smoke) leakage rates available at ambient and medium temperature at various pressures.
- Can be considered deemed to satisfy to BCA Specification C3.4 for use with smoke doors (when fitted to compliant door leaf).
- Acoustic testing to AS1191 and AS1276 in conjunction with other Lorient IntegrityTM seals.
- Independent tests have been conducted demonstrating over 100,000 open and close cycles without significant wear.
